Ill Have Another Trainer Suspended
With already a million things running through I’ll Have Another trainer’s mind leading up to the Belmont Stakes, Doug O’neill can now add one more. The California Horse Racing Board has just suspended I’ll Have Another trainer for 45 days and many Belmont Stakes bettors are worried if this will effect I’ll Have Another’s shot at winning the Belmont Stakes and what happens if you already bet on the Belmont for I’ll Have Another to win the Triple Crown. We will all answer that plus more in this breaking news with the recent suspension of Doug O’Neill, better known as the trainer of I’ll Have Another, recent Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner.
As mentioned above, the trainer will be suspended for 45 days by the California Horse Racing Board. The violation or penalty will start on July 1st, which as we know is luckily after the Belmont Stakes race which is on Saturday, June 9th, 2012. The news came earlier today when the racing board located in Inglewood, California, found I’ll Have Another trainer Doug O’Neill in violation of using excessive levels of carbon dioxide which were from a previous race from back in 2010. The horse was not I’ll Have Another. This is not O’Neill’s first time being found guilty in this type of situation, but let’s hope it is the last. Of course with this news comes almost immediate speculation that I’ll Have Another has been giving the same “milkshake” concoction which supposedly is meant to help the horse fight fatigue. Many sports bettors are worried about their previous bets and upcoming bets but this recent news will not effect I’ll Have Another. If you bet on I’ll Have Another in the Belmont Stakes online betting you do not need to worry as he will race, but you should worry that the I’ll Have Another training camp may lack focus with all the recent controversy that has come to light.
